A postcard from San Vito

A small picture of Puglia: the suggestive town of San Vito

San Vito is a very small town, we are talking about about a hundred inhabitants, a stone's throw from Polignano a Mare .

This area is fundamentally characterized by the abbey of San Vito Martire (built in the 10th century and an unmistakable symbol of this place) by the small port at the foot of the abbey itself and finally by a small beach , mixed with sand and pebbles, with water crystal clear.

San Vito , in addition to being a small and charming town, is an excellent place to relax and at the same time enjoy a nice seafood dish close to the marina; In fact, there are 3-4 restaurants that will allow you to savor typical Apulian recipes while enjoying a wonderful landscape.

A destination for many tourists, especially in summer, San Vito offers an almost surreal atmosphere where time seems to have stopped; in short, it is a place absolutely worth seeing and experiencing.

After all, it is just 20 minutes from Bari (by car) and 5 minutes from the entrance to Polignano a Mare , another beautiful attraction in Puglia .
