From 1 December to 6 January , the city is transformed into a small Christmas jewel, thanks to the rich calendar of events organized by the municipal administration and the Freedom association , with the patronage of the Puglia Region and the Bari Chamber of Commerce . Christmas in Corato, in fact, is not just a celebration, but a truly exciting journey made of colours, flavors and melodies that will involve adults and children. Appointment in Piazza Matteotti , at 7.30pm, with the "Great lighting" of the Christmas tree and the Gospel choir ; the starting point to immerse yourself in the magic, with a message of peace and solidarity that will resonate throughout the event.
New for 2024: Santa Claus Village
This year, Christmas in Corato reserves a special surprise: Santa Claus' Village , a novelty that promises to enchant visitors of all ages. Located in the heart of the ancient village, this fairy-tale corner will be the perfect place to experience moments of joy and happiness, surrounded by suggestive lights and scenography.
To make everything even more special will be the presence of Claudia Lerro , actress and face of the second edition of the event, who, together with a cast of over 70 actors and extras, will guide visitors on an immersive journey to discover the true spirit Christmas .
